Why subscribe to Ink Vault?

Ink Vault is part sketchbook from an all night party, part diary from a night train through somewhere far away. It is a place for work more spontaneous than would fit in the outlets I usually write for, and more real than I’d want to post on the algorithmic Pavlov’s Box we call social media. Above all, it’s an experiment. Maybe a bit of a conspiracy between you and me.

No but really, why should you subscribe?

Of course, you’ll be the first to hear about my print sales and art shows. I’ll post my private sketches, my late night obsessions, the swigs of history that won’t make it into my book. There will be art advice, reading lists, and love letters to cities. I don’t know what shape this place will take, but you will help shape it.

Let’s Talk

I find myself missing the internet of my youth, which is to say LiveJournal. Above all, I miss the conversations we had in those comment threads. Ink Vault will be my attempt to bring that back. As I spend less time on other sites, you can find me here. Let’s build something together.
